Hello and thanks for visiting us! We are a small, family business that just began, although I’ve been making soap for over 10 years. The “we” is my husband and kids who help me with various aspects of our business, so I can focus more on the making. My love of soap-making began when I decided to make shave bars for family. I failed and was disappointed but loved the process and kept trying. Eventually, I got it right and just kept going with soap and other things. I really enjoy the process of having an idea and seeing if I can make that idea happen in soap form. To that end, we make a lot of soap molds and scrapers ourselves. My goal is to create safe, fun, and sustainable products that make people happy!
As consumers, it can be difficult to find environmentally sustainable options to purchase. I frequently wish companies would give us better options like less plastic and packaging, and we wanted to make sure we could be as responsible as possible. We try to use minimal, reusable, recyclable, and/or compostable product packaging and shipping materials, where possible. It is also important for us to use sustainable ingredients that are ethically sourced and not tested on animals, and we buy supplies from sources with that same philosophy.
Our Sky Hollow Team
Our team has been working diligently since before the creation of Sky Hollow Soaps. My two trusted colleagues and friends have offered moral support throughout the entirety of this business process, and their knowledge in olfactory expertise has greatly improved the scents and fragrances that we include in our products. (One is extremely well-versed in exotic essential oils, such as Frosted Sea Glass, while the other prefers more traditional aromas, such as rose). These dear workmates were the sole inspiration for our woof wash (COMING SOON)! Their whines of encouragement have kept this business in high spirits, and I thank them for their contributions to both our advertising and barketing.
